COLife is an alliance of six research institutes in life sciences located in Lisbon and Oeiras:

Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência (IGC)

 

Mission

Promote and strengthen research in life sciences, training, innovation and connection with society, in the region of Oeiras and Lisbon.

COLife alliance main goals

To maximize our resources and potential, in terms of research facilities, scientific services and scientific expertise, by sharing infrastructures and know-how in addition to fostering synergies and collaboration between its six research institutes.

With a joint communication strategy, we aim to enhance the national and international visibility of the six research institutes of this alliance, contributing to the dissemination of scientific knowledge and involving the scientific community, including funding agencies and industry, as well as the civil society.
