The fisrt COLife postdoc day happened on November 18th of 2022 at Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência and was a collaborative effort of the postdoc commissions of the various COLife institutes.  (ITQB-NOVA, iBET, IMM, NOVA, Champalimaud & IGC). We counted with the participation of 90 postdocs from the several COLife institutions. This event had as main goals the promotion of the interaction between the different postdoc communities, the discussion of common interest themes and the strengthening of the postdoc communities of the different COLife institutes. We had several networking activities, presentations from the postdoc representatives of the different institutes, a COLife presentation where several joint activities were proposed, a round-table discussion on science communication and two workshops on “Conflict Management and Effective Communication in the Lab” organized by Chaperone.
